Looking for Christmas

Hullo!

Yesterday I had the exam, all went well, at least I think so. Now I still have two days filled with classes, cold and shopping for books I have to read for the next exams. I feel pretty lonely right now, because everyone out there is feeling Christmas getting nearer and I can't share these moments, so I just stare out the window and wait for thursday, when I'll be home, at my parents', again (and I cannot complain, I already had Sinterklaas a few weeks ago).

The weekend, however, was lovely. My parents came here and Roberto came as well a bit later, but I am so happy we saw eachother.
My parents and I went to Ikea, to a small, cute Christmas market and then with Roberto at the Chinese restaurant. Then we went for a walk in the city which is filled with woderful lights at Christmas (there are many awful lights too actually).
So here are a few photos of the weekend; tomorrow the second week of the 365 project.

Missing someone

This weekend Roberto came here. We went to Ikea to buy some new bookshelves because a few days ago the one I had in my room just decided that he was too tired of carrying dictionaries.

Obviously I cannot leave Ikea without buying something superfluous, but immensely pretty

We just walked through the store saying "We will buy this when we'll have our house" "This would be so nice to have in our kitchen",.. Dreaming and dreaming.

Well, the weekend has been wonderful, as always, but when he leaves I am always so sad!
Today I tried not to think about it, but it's difficult when outside it's pouring, it's cold, and the only thing you need is his hug (and a cup of tea!).
So I just drawed a bit and catched up with the blogs I haven't read saturday.

My evening so far

And now I am thinking of really makng that cup of tea and make some leaves with fimo.
Oh, and.. I made up a wonderful recipe for Muesli (granola) scones. Recipe will be posted soon =).

Goodnight!

Owwwwwll

Hello!!!
I woke up today, and since I'm home (after two looong weeks in Turin, and after my English Literature Exam) I could make the project I've been thinking about for a few days.
A colleague of Roberto asked if I could make a puppet for her granddaughter. So, I looked ik a few blogs, because I didn't know what kind of puppet I could make. Then, I saw this fantastic and adorable owl byKatie of Skunkboy Creatures. This was my inspiration to make my own owl.
I made his eyes, heart and beak of fimo. The beak is just a little too big, but, for being the first time I am pretty satisfied. This is the result :
I know it isn't a good picture, but I forgot to bring my camera with me, so I had to do it with the webcam.

The fabric is from Ikea, I love it..
This afternoon I am going to see "Romeo + Juliet" for the fourth time in 5 days.. Ahah!
Bye!!

Autumn

Hi!
Here I am. I was just reading some blogs, and I thought I should write every day, or at least every two days. The fact is that I really don't find the time. If I have two minutes between my history book and the lectures, I clean up my house, or I craft something.. The new year has began.
I have a lot of ideas in my mind, but here in Turin I have no neddles, no yarn..nothing. And, yes, I go home every 2 weeks, but in the train I cannot bring a lot of things, surely I cannot bring a sewing machine ^^. But, I brought all my Fimo with me, so I can make at least something.

Last week I made chocolate cupcakes, with dark chocolate icing. Mmhhh!!! Everyone wants more! ahah..! I'll post the pictures when I'll have the connecting cable of my camera -.-
These are faboulous cupcakes I found in a fantastic icing-world.

Tomorrow some friends will come here, so I am planing to make a lot of nice cupcakes!

I was also skimming the new Ikea catalogue, and I found a lot of things I want to have, absolutely!! All those colours, the fabrics, the cute bowls, etc. I have to say that I always like much more the things which are in the section "kids". ^^

Oh, well. My cat is growing!! She's always playing, it's so funny!
She thinks everything is moving, she plays with her shadow, and with her tail..ahahah..!I took this picture in one of the few moments that she was calm. =). Isn't she beautiful (qhen she sleeps?)
Ok, I have to go to the library, buying, I think, 10 books. It's cold!! Brr..!!
Bye.. !! I hope I can write more often..!!

A little freeeeeezing Froggy.
