Inspire me, photography! II

I have looots of projects. Too many actually. There's a bit of confusion in my mind about what I really want to be, what I want to do etc. But everything is full of hope and enthusiasm, so, I don't mind, I continue to study and I continue baking, I make little crafty thinks a bit less, because all the supplies etc are at my parent's place, and I don't go there very often anymore.
Unfortunately I have no cable to connect the camera to the computer, again. Therefore I thought of posting a brand new post about photography. But, since I'm obsessed with baking lately, and I think I will be forever, I am going to post five pictures of lovely, supersweet cupcakes/cakes/ice cream or whatever inspires me.

I just found a job for this summer and I am really excited about it.
But I also have so many ideas about what to do, what to bake, make, create. Where to go. Etcetera. I have to rearrange my mind.

Easter and Dad's Birthday

Saturday, like every year, we dyed the Easter eggs. This year Roberto wanted to participate too, it was a whole new experience for him. In Italy Easter is considered a big religious feast, so he liked to find out this other profane part of Easter a lot.
He painted our cat Miele on one egg, my mother dyed hers with silver shades, my father made a lot of geometric shapes and I made a big Chesire cat.


Sunday we searched the eggs which the hare (my mother) had hidden in the garden. I always have so much fun searching the eggs. Then, we noticed one egg was missing, Roberto and I searched everywhere but it was nowhere to be found.



Then I made Banana split cupcakes for my father's birthday and a Scharzwalder Kirsch Torte.
I had a lot of work with that cake, but I was pretty happy with the result.
We had a lot of guests, fortunately, otherwise the cupcakes would never have finished. (mmh.. actually they did not finish, but not many were left).

(I know.. on the cake it says "48" and on the candles "46" but you can guess how old my father is if you want)

Maybe I'll post the recipe of the Schwarzwalder Kirsch Torte later.. it' not that complicated (if you know where to buy cherry and kirsch. I only found cherries in liqueur and they had a too strong taste, they had a too high alcoholic strenght ^^).

Hoor de wind waait door de bomen..

Hallo!!
The title means "hear the wind blowing through the trees" and it's the beginning of my favourite Sinterklaas song.
Yesterday we celebrated Sinterklaas, and it was sooooo much fun! When you celebrate sinterklaas you have to write rhyming poems with every gift. And with some gifts you have to invent something, like, for example, a treasure hunt.
The day before yesterday Roberto and I made cookies with nutella, confectioner's sugar and chocolate:


Yesterday I made cupcakes:


Then, I prepared the "surprises" and wrapped up the gifts.


Miele, in the meantime, was making noise and eating up all the coloured feathers.


Finally, "Sinterklaas" arrived and he brought a lot of gifts!


We enjoyed our evening together and our "surprises"..


(the cactus was because sometimes I go mad for no reason, but, after all, it's normal, isn't it? XD. the cupcake was, obviously, because I looove cupcakes!! and I received a lot of decorations for them.)


It was really a fantastic evening! And I have to thank my parents, who are always very creative and have so much funny ideas!

Cupcakessss!!!

Oh, yes.. I was just talking (mm..writing) about my cupcakes, and I'm looking forward to make them, but I have to wait a couple of hours.
Well, I just drawed two capcakes on my recipe-notebook and my agenda. I took a picture with my webcam, therefore it's not wonderful..but.. here they are..!

I like them even if I want to add some colour..
You can also notice that I'm wearing a sweater.. It's cold again!!!

Hi!
Here I am. I was just reading some blogs, and I thought I should write every day, or at least every two days. The fact is that I really don't find the time. If I have two minutes between my history book and the lectures, I clean up my house, or I craft something.. The new year has began.
I have a lot of ideas in my mind, but here in Turin I have no neddles, no yarn..nothing. And, yes, I go home every 2 weeks, but in the train I cannot bring a lot of things, surely I cannot bring a sewing machine ^^. But, I brought all my Fimo with me, so I can make at least something.

Last week I made chocolate cupcakes, with dark chocolate icing. Mmhhh!!! Everyone wants more! ahah..! I'll post the pictures when I'll have the connecting cable of my camera -.-

Tomorrow some friends will come here, so I am planing to make a lot of nice cupcakes!

I was also skimming the new Ikea catalogue, and I found a lot of things I want to have, absolutely!! All those colours, the fabrics, the cute bowls, etc. I have to say that I always like much more the things which are in the section "kids". ^^

Oh, well. My cat is growing!! She's always playing, it's so funny!
She thinks everything is moving, she plays with her shadow, and with her tail..ahahah..!I took this picture in one of the few moments that she was calm. =). Isn't she beautiful (qhen she sleeps?)
Ok, I have to go to the library, buying, I think, 10 books. It's cold!! Brr..!!
