Welcome November

Roberto and I went to the park friday, enjoyed these wonderful colours and met this cutie:


Then we went for a walk in the shopping road here in Turin. It began to rain so we came back home. It has been raining incessantly since then. Yesterday we stayed at home watching Glee, doing some scrapbooking about our trip back in September, read and studied, and today he has left again.
The day after tomorrow I will have the exam of Angloamerican Literature, and I am quite nervous knowing that one of the two teachers is strict and severe. Help!
After the exam I can craft, draw and read what I want for at least...mmh.. 1 hour. I already have 8 more book on my "to read" list for German and English Literature.
IS this what I really want? Well, I chose for it two years ago, I will go on until I graduate probably next November.

Update

This is the first time in my life I am really enjoying Fall.
I always associated Fall with School when I was at High school. Now I am still studying, but everything is different, and growing up I understood that there are small things that are to be noticed and enjoyed.
Fall is for Chai tea or hot coffee, hugging the ones you love, warm and cozy clothes and stay home when it's raining outside.

And fall brings us those fabulous colours back..

Missing someone

This weekend Roberto came here. We went to Ikea to buy some new bookshelves because a few days ago the one I had in my room just decided that he was too tired of carrying dictionaries.

Obviously I cannot leave Ikea without buying something superfluous, but immensely pretty



We just walked through the store saying "We will buy this when we'll have our house" "This would be so nice to have in our kitchen",.. Dreaming and dreaming.

Well, the weekend has been wonderful, as always, but when he leaves I am always so sad!
Today I tried not to think about it, but it's difficult when outside it's pouring, it's cold, and the only thing you need is his hug (and a cup of tea!).
So I just drawed a bit and catched up with the blogs I haven't read saturday.

And now I am thinking of really makng that cup of tea and make some leaves with fimo.
Oh, and.. I made up a wonderful recipe for Muesli (granola) scones. Recipe will be posted soon =).

The great comeback, for now.

I haven't blogged for more than two months. It's been two busy, confusing, stupid months. Actually the whole year hasn't been my luckiest one, I can say it is being the worst one actually (one of my friend would say "until now!", ahah).

I stopped baking and cooking, crafting and taking nice pics. Then I made a trip around Europe with Roberto, and opened my eyes to the world. I just have to go on with my hobbies, even if I am not feeling great, or not 100% happy, because those things keep me alive.
Even if someone says "You will not become a baker" that does not mean that I cannot have a passion for baking. And if I want to become I baker, I will succeed. Full stop.

At the moment I don't really know what I want (translate, travel, bake, take pictures, have a family, be happy..that are all big dreams of mine), but while I am figuring out, I can just go on with some of my passions, right?

Therefore today I woke up and decided it would have been the day to make my comeback in the Baking World.
Why? Because my daddy is ill and he's complaining a lot. My mum hates this. They both need something sugary in their day.
My dad loves cookies. My mum loves sugar.
I had a "To bake" list, and the weather is being rainy.
All those ingredients combined means only one thing: "Gingerbread Cookies"!

I am so happy to have baked something, and I think my father was too. Fall brings us cozy clothing, warm cups of tea, oranges and mandarins, and..Gingerbread Cookies! Right?
